Thank you to all of you who played for the Challenge team this year (and your parents) for making it a very successful season. You have played fantastically as a unit, with unselfish teamwork and the collective win consistently eclipsing individual glory, something which we all know is at the core of every great team. Of the 14 matches played, you won eight games and scored 57 goals ? 1.8 goals for every one that you conceded. On a number of occasions I had opposition coaches compliment me on how well structured you were as a team, which is testament to your discipline, composure and patience in sticking to the game-plan and waiting for the goals to come, which they inevitably did.
